Our signature program at PE is the College Prep Program – CPP. Designed in house by our College Director, it equips students who will study abroad not only to enhance their language fluency but to learn college skills. The program was designed on a TOEFL-IELTS platform with a focus on: vocabulary, oral, writing, reading, and listening skills. However, it goes much deeper into each skill to help students understand how these skills work at a college level.
Students can take 30-day on-line courses with an emphasis on writing skills. They will spend 20 minutes every day for 30 days on-line with our trained college prep teacher. They complete assignments each day then they go over those assignments with the teacher on-line. These “boot camp” courses teach the four skills necessary for college, reading, listening, oral and writing.
Our students consistently score over 100 on TOEFL exams and can increase the writing score by up to 5 points in 30 days. They score an average of 7 to 7.5 on IELTS exams and can increase the writing score by up to 1 point in 30 days. Our students currently attend some of the top universities in China and abroad earning BA and MA degrees.
